The redheaded former champion was stretching, preparing for her match.  She looked upset from having
her routine interrupted, but stepped forward.

ALEXIS:  Well Moorea, your first round tournament match for the Middleweight Championship is a little
later this evening, and I’m wondering your thoughts on your opponent Teri Mooney.
MOOREA:  First of all, if you wish for me to continue this “interview” you will address me as the AFW
Middleweight Champion.
ALEXIS:  But you’re not…
MOOREA:  Listen to me you skinny little bitch.  I AM the champion.  Some stupid little ruling by the board
does nothing to change that.

MOOREA:  You see I knew something like this would happen eventually.  You have no idea what it is like
to be me.  I am something that no other woman here is.  I am a WRESTLER.  I am different from all the
other woman in this league.  Every other woman in that locker room is more concerned with being a
“sports entertainer.”  They all want their bodies to be perfect, selling their looks for approval.  This is just
a step for them.

MOOREA:  They all are using the AFW.  This is just a spot for them to get that next magazine centerfold,
the TV show, the movie deal.  NONE of them care about the art of professional wrestling.  I DO!

MOOREA:  I am what I say I am.  I am a professional wrestler.  I live and breathe for this industry.  I spend
hours upon hours in the gym, training my body, honing my skills, to be the very best this industry has
ever seen.  There is no one who is more technically proficient in that ring.  There is no one I can not
suplex.  There is no hold I can not apply.  My submissions will snap every bone in your body if I want
them to.  There is NO ONE who can handle me in that ring!  And NO ONE has proven me wrong!

MOOREA:  But what do I hear from management?  Moorea, you’re not quite toned enough.
Moorea, you’re hiding your best features from the fans.  Moorea, you’re matches are not exciting
enough.  Moorea, you’re not flashy enough.  Moorea, you’re not fancy enough.  Moorea this, Moorea
that…SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!!

MOOREA:  I am UNDEFEATED.  I have defended MY titled for the last five months, taking on challenger
after challenger.  BEATING challenger after challenger.  But did I ever earn these people’s respect?
They booed me out of the building.  Did I ever gain management’s respect?  They booked me in the
death spot of every single card.  They have done EVERYTHING to take my title from me, and they finally
got their way didn’t they?

MOOREA:  Oh that’s right.  You think this was some sort of “decision to help the company?”
ALEXIS:  I, um, think..
MOOREA:  I could care less what your opinion is.  You make me sick, you little sycophant.  Get out of
here before I dislocate both of your arms.

Alexis went running, as the Red Plague stared into the camera.

MOOREA:  You got your way, didn’t you?  Everyone wanted my virus stricken from this company.  You
stole my championship the first chance you got.  And then how do you treat me in this tournament?  With
the respect I deserve?  NO!

MOOREA:  Teri Mooney is a great wrestler.  Is she in my league?  Not even close.  But as the number
one contender for MY championship, she should be at the other end of the bracket.  I should have been
a number one seed, with Teri at the other end of the bracket.  But does that happen?  Of course not.  So
while women who haven’t even wrestled before get cake walk matches, I am forced to have the most
difficult fight of the first round “to keep the fans happy.”

MOOREA:  FUCK THE FANS!!!  They turned their back on me.  They never embraced me.  They never
accepted me.  I was booed, called boring, treated unfairly, when all I did was WRESTLE!  They didn’t
accept me, why?  Because my abs aren’t perfect six packs?  I am one of the most beautiful women in the
world!  All of you women are jealous of my body, and you men could only dream of being with someone
like me.  But you only wanted Playboy centerfolds.

MOOREA:  I WRESTLED FOR YOU!!  That is the fucking name on the fucking marquee!!!!!
WRESTLING!!!  I have gone through so much pain and agony, given so much blood, sweat, and tears,
and abused myself to be the greatest WRESTLER this industry has ever seen!  But all of you chose
them over me.

MOOREA:  I would like to personally apologize to Teri Mooney.  You see, what happens tonight isn’t your
fault.  You can look to the fans that love you, the management that loved your looks, the announcers
who built you up, and everyone else that ignored me.  Because tonight, the Red Plague has to go out
and make a point.  I have to go out ONCE AGAIN and prove why I am the AFW Middleweight Champion.
Why I am the BEST this industry has ever seen.  And unfortunately for you, that means I have to hurt you.

MOOREA:  That’s right.  If that’s what it takes to finally gain the respect I deserve, that is what I will do.
No one in this tournament or in this company can compete with my technical and submission arsenal.
But that doesn’t matter to anyone.  So all that’s left to earn that respect is using my submission holds to
hurt you……you and all the other girls that they put me up against.  I’ll lock on one my maneuvers and
snap your bones.

MOOREA:  That’s all there is to it.  The Plague will infect every fiber of your being Teri.  It will break you
down, it will cripple you, then it will end your career.  These people won’t respect me then, but I sure will
feel a lot better.  I’m cured from wanting your affection.  I’m cured of wanting the respect of management.
All that matters is my CHAMPIONSHIP.

???:  And that’s all that should matter!

Moorea shot her head around as Cindy Phillips walked into view.
JENNY:  Alright everybody, let’s head backstage, where Alexis Bledel is trying to track down an interview.
ALEXIS:  Hey everyone, I’m backstage trying to get an interview from one of the most elusive women in
this industry.  Let’s see if we can get a few words from the former AFW Middleweight Champion Moorea
Wolfe.  Moorea can I talk to you for a second?

EPISODE 3
LOCATION: THE COBO ARENA [DETROIT, MI]
CINDY:  Whoa there red.  Calm down a second.  I’m not here to fight.
MOOREA:  You.  Not looking for a fight.  Sounds a bit ironic if you ask me.
CINDY:  Well a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do.
MOOREA:  Where are your friends?  Sneaking up on me?
CINDY:  You mean Britt and Jean?  No way.  I told you, I’m not here to fight.  Besides, their finishing up
their contract talks.  This is just between you and me.

CINDY:  I know we’re both middleweights, so the title, that is rightfully yours, should be a major concern
for both of us.  But I’m in the World Title tournament.  This is my goal.  So between the two of us, there’s
no issue.
MOOREA:  And IF I believed that, what would you want.
CINDY:  You see, I’ve learned from watching this pathetic company, that the only way to survive is
strength in numbers.  It’s the only way to make sure screw jobs don’t happen.  It’s the only way great
champions like you are not mistreated.  It’s the only way that young girls like us get the opportunity we
rightfully deserve.

CINDY:  I look at all these tournaments and what are they over crowded with?  Women who hit their
prime a decade ago….women who, unlike you and I, have gotten by selling their bodies to the crowd, not
through their wrestling perfection.  You and I are a lot alike.  Neither of us is respected.  Neither of us has
gotten the credit we deserved.  Both of us have been held down by the powers that be, simply because
we WRESTLE.  We are both held down by those so-called SUPERSTARS that clutch and cling to their
“spots,” never letting anyone better than them get a chance to be a star.

CINDY:  Look at you.  You’re right, you are the best hold for hold wrestler this industry has EVER seen.
But what do they want to see?  A talentless whore like my opponent tonight, Cori Nadine.  A woman
pushed because she had a nice rack ten years ago.  And you are absolutely right.  The only way young
girls like you and me will EVER get that shot, is by taking the opportunity from them.  And if that means
injuring everyone we get in the ring with…so be it.

CINDY:  So what I’m offering you is simple.  My help.  Now I’m not talking interfering in all of your
matches, or taking control of your career.  Your destiny is your own.  I’m offering you some back up for
when management tries to hold you down again.  When you get screwed over by an opponent, or double
and triple teamed.  Who will watch your back, the way no one watched ours.  With us, you will earn that
respect you crave, for your ability, not anything else.  And if you don’t get it….we will beat that respect
into them.  What do you say?

MOOREA:  I’ll think about it after my match.
CINDY:  Fair enough.  You know where my locker room is.  It’s the one I have to share with all the other
girls that aren’t considered super stars.
MOOREA:  Funny.  I think I’m there too.
